Every Empire has a boundary...no one has conquered the world. The only world ruled by one is our inner world. An Emperor can not control what is outside the boarders of the Empire, just as we can not control the thoughts and feelings of others. Just as an Emperor can not control the thoughts and feelings of those within the country... our feelings are a genuine response that aren't to be controlled either. Respected, acknowledged, yes, not controlled. Our true throne, the Emperor's true seat of power is in the realm of our own actions. We don't control our emotions, but we must control how we respond to them. We may not control others, but we do control how we respond to them. Our actions and words are our true domain, and we are each the Emperor.
