Sometimes you really do have to take a little time off from writing, to live, to love, to read before you can "write what you know" as the adage goes.
One thing that I've read recently that has been proving itself true (and tremendously helpful) in this time of living...aka blog-cation....and that is "Secrets of a Buccaneer Scholar" by Marcus Bach. I recommend it for anyone who does creative work and/or is self-employed.
